Thai-Inspired Salmon Burgers





I have always been a fan of experimenting with different cuisines and flavors in the kitchen. So when I came across a recipe for Thai-style salmon burgers, I knew I had to give it a try with the Omega Mike's Burger. These burgers are made with finely Omega Mike's salmon burgers, seasoned with a blend of aromatic Thai herbs and spices, and served with a spicy mayonnaise on top. They are a delicious and flavorful twist on the classic burger, and they are sure to be a hit with your family and friends.


I was initially inspired to make these salmon burgers when I visited a local Thai restaurant and tried their version of the dish. It was so delicious that I knew I had to recreate it at home with our burgers. And after a few rounds of experimentation and tweaking, I finally came up with a recipe that I was really happy with.


Now, every time I make these Thai-style salmon burgers, I am transported to the vibrant flavors and aromas of Thai cuisine. The combination of herbs and spices, combined with the creamy, spicy mayonnaise, creates a taste sensation that is truly unforgettable. Ingredients:

  • 4 Omega Mike's salmon burgers

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Thai red curry paste

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • Spicy mayonnaise (recipe below)

  • Lettuce, tomato, and red onion, for serving

  • Lemon, for garnish

For the spicy mayonnaise:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Thai red curry paste

  • Juice of 1/2 lime

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Thaw salmon burgers. Once thawed, combine the salmon, cilantro, green onions, garlic, curry paste, cumin, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the salmon burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

  4. While the burgers are grilling, prepare the spicy mayonnaise. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic, curry paste, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing the salmon patty on the bottom bun, followed by a spoonful of spicy mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Top with the top bun and serve.
